This page contains some programming and film projects that I had done on the past.
Searchee: Search Shopee Review
Searchee is a free web application built with React.js and Flask which aims to help consumers determine better products by searching the reviews of their desired Shopee products.
On the web, browsing the reviews is not very accessible since you can only view 5 reviews at a time before clicking next page. Furthermore, there might be thousands of reviews which consumers need to go through, many that contains unnecessary information and spammy texts.
With Searchee, users can skim through the reviews more easily with its clean interface, enabling smarter purchases and finding better-valued products. The app works with any countries of Shopee, and it also acts as an alternative to viewing reviews on the main site/app.
SAPS Touch
SAPS Touch is an ad-free Android application set out to improve the experience of mobile user while navigating the Malaysia's school exam analysis (SAPS, Sistem Analisis Peperiksaan Sekolah).
The app compile all the information of a student with their IC number and present them in a way for user to navigate and examine the information clearly. Users are also able to save the student which can be accessed again in the future. Install it now on Google Play!

Short Films
KMKt Graduation Music Video
《疫•忆》is a graduation music video for 2020/2021 students from Kelantan Matriculation College in which I act as a director, an editor and a co-producer in the video-making process.
This is one of the most large scale production I've worked with that involves the entire Chinese community in our college. Multiple aspects had made it quite a challenging task to complete, from the partial lockdown of the school, final exams that are closing in, being a no budget film to the bad planning at the start.
But at the end, we still managed to pull this off and the production ends with a success! Throughout the journey we had learnt a lot about the ins and outs of creating a music video and it's not easy, especially being a director/producer that I had to plan the shooting schedule, create decisions on multiple aspects such as casting, and make sacrifices on my studies.
CLHS Short Film Competition
Before graduating secondary school, I worked with my juniors on a farewell gathering competition which are held by the scouts of Chung Ling High School in Penang. I helped co-direct and edit the zero-budget film with them. It's also my first time trying out a professional DSLR to shoot videos as well as directing a drama short film.Through the dedication of our team we had won first place in the competition!
